Center of mass
It is the location of the system whose mass distribution is symmetric.

Center of gravity
It is the location of the system where the force distribution or gravitational field is symmetric.

• The center of gravity can be the equilibrium point or the equilibrium center.

• In horizontal systems at the equator, the center of mass and gravity are the same.
