Question about Accelerated electrons

Someone asked :

Why do accelerated electrons radiate energy, i.e., in particle accelerators, and do they lose their effective mass as a result?

And the founder of APG ( FAPG ) responded :

Short answer :
Yes, they may lose their effective mass as a result of this radiation.

Supplementary :
Based on the concepts and physical relations (Maxwell's equations, etc.), the accelerated (free) charged particle emits electromagnetic energy. The cause of this electromagnetic radiation is the change of electric and magnetic fields. In synchrotron accelerators, electrons accelerate and radiate under the influence of a magnetic field. These electrons are in the relativistic region, so this radiation may be associated with their energy conversion (due to the increase in their relative mass). That is, as a result of this radiation, they lose part of their effective mass. (M.Sh)
