Paper 1 : Physics of Scale and Quantum Limit _ M.A.Sh

Consider a large-scale system (such as a solar system). Make this system smaller and smaller. What do you think happens with downsizing?

Will we see a difference in behavior from a certain point onwards (for example, the atomic limit or the Angstrom)?

Will we reach from classical physics to quantum physics?

Is there a limit to the quantum nature of a system (either in terms of dimensional scale or in terms of the energy scale, etc.)?

If the answer is yes, that's what we (in the APG) call physics of scales.

The system's behavior differs on different scales (dimensions, energy, etc.). (M.A.Sh)

Sound wave

What is a Sound Wave?

Displacement propagation (expansion and condensation) or pressure change in the elastic environment due to disturbance (collision, etc.)

What are the conditions for sound wave formation?

(1) disorder
(2) the existence of equilibrium conditions

What are the conditions for sound wave propagation?

(1) Existence of environment
(2) the elasticity of the environment
(3) System-environment coupling

Convert vibration to wave

Vibration Conditions :

Proper amplitude

Coupling system with environment

Elasticity of environment

Waves

What is a wave?
Oscillating propagation of the system in equilibrium of elastic environment

How does the phenomenon of wave form?
As the equilibrium system disrupts, the oscillation occurs around the equilibrium point, which depends on the elasticity of the environment and the coupling of the vibration system to the environment, which eventually results in oscillation or energy transfer, which is the same wave.

What are the wave parameters?
Wave amplitude : Depends on the source.
Period : A fundamental feature of a system or oscillator.
Wave propagation speed : Depends on the basic parameters of the environment.

There are three important things to consider in wave physics :
Conditions of formation
Release Features
Interactions
